Welcome to Pixie, a social networking platform designed for the LGBTQ+ community to connect, share, and be seen.
These Subscription Terms outline the features, payment structure, renewal process, and user rights for both Free and Premier subscriptions.
By creating a Pixie account or upgrading to Premier, you agree to these terms, along with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines.
🌈 1. Subscription Options
a. Free Membership (Standard Account)
Pixie’s Free tier gives you access to the core community features:
Access to the Plaza (Newsfeed) to view, post, and engage with public content.
Create a personal profile and follow other users.
Send and receive direct messages via Whispers (limited to a daily cap).
Access to Sparkles (our reimagined hashtag system).
View limited Broadcasts (short video posts).
Basic community moderation and safety features.
The Free tier is supported by in-app ads and limited posting frequency to ensure fair use.
b. Premier Membership (£4.99/month)
Upgrade to Pixie Premier to unlock the full experience — designed for creators, connectors, and those who want more from their Pixie community.
Premier benefits include:
Ad-free experience — enjoy Pixie without interruptions.
Unlimited Whispers — message freely with anyone on the platform.
Priority profile visibility — appear higher in search results and discovery feeds.
Early access to new features, beta releases, and events.
Enhanced Broadcast uploads — longer videos and higher quality streaming.
Profile customisation tools — exclusive themes, badges, and flair.
Advanced analytics for creators (views, reach, engagement stats).
Premier Support — priority access to customer service responses.
Subscription is billed monthly at £4.99 through your selected payment method (App Store, Google Play, or Pixie Web).
💳 2. Payment & Renewal
Your Premier subscription will automatically renew each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your device settings or Pixie’s account dashboard.
Payments are processed securely through your chosen provider; Pixie does not store full payment details.
All prices include applicable taxes and fees.
🔁 3. Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel your Premier subscription anytime. Upon cancellation, you will retain Premier benefits until the end of your current billing period.
Refunds are only issued in accordance with consumer protection laws or if required by the App Store or Google Play refund policies.
Downgrading from Premier to Free will result in loss of premium features after the billing cycle ends.
🛡️ 4. Fair Use & Account Integrity
Premier accounts are for individual use only and may not be shared or resold.
Pixie reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be violating our [Community Guidelines] or engaging in misuse of paid features.
Abuse of subscription benefits (e.g., spam messaging, harassment, impersonation) may result in immediate termination without refund.
⚙️ 5. Changes to Pricing or Features
Pixie may modify, add, or remove features from any subscription tier at any time.
If subscription pricing changes, you’ll be notified at least 30 days in advance, and you’ll have the option to continue or cancel before renewal.
